Description

Philly cheese steak is a savory delight featuring tender beef and gooey cheese enclosed in a soft hoagie roll, perfect for any meal or gathering!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye beef
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

For the Filling:

  1. 1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing ribeye against the grain for tenderness. Slice onions and bell peppers into strips.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. 3. Push veggies aside and add sliced beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper; add Worcestershire sauce while cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Once beef is cooked through, layer provolone slices over the mixture. Cover with a lid for about 2 minutes until cheese melts.
  5. 5. Slice hoagie rolls open (not all the way) and spoon generous portions of the beef mixture onto each roll.
  6. 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
