- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

For the Sauce:
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Ingredients: Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts before cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about half a cup of pasta water.
- 3. Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add seasoned chicken pieces. Cook until golden brown and no longer pink inside, about 6-8 minutes.
- 4. Add Garlic: After the chicken is cooked through, add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- 5. Create the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth while scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- 6. Combine Everything: Add cooked fettuccine back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together well; if it's too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
