For the Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 23 tbsp water (to achieve desired consistency)

Instructions

For the Dough:

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let sit for about five minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add melted butter and granulated sugar to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and cinnamon. Gradually add this dry mixture into your wet ingredients while stirring to form a sticky dough.
  4. 4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about five minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Once risen, punch down the dough, divide it into equal pieces, and shape them into balls. Place them in a greased baking pan close together but not touching.
  7. 7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for around 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

For the Glaze:
