  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

For the Chicken:

  1. 1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. 2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. 3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs (add a splash of water), and the last with a mixture of Italian bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. 4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg wash, then coat generously in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. 5. Lightly spray each breaded chicken breast with cooking spray.
  6. 6. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.

For the Sauce:

  1. 7. Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the air fryer and spoon marinara sauce over each piece.
  2. 8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the sauced chicken.
