  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

  5. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until bubbly but not browned.

  7. Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.

  9. Reduce heat to low and slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring constantly. Let it simmer gently for about two minutes.
