Instructions
For the Chicken:
- 1. Season each chicken breast generously with blackening seasoning on both sides.
- 2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil until shimmering. Sear the seasoned chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
For the Sauce:
- 1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- 2. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
For the Pasta:
- 1. Cook fettuccine or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
